Sabrina E. Morrissey’s primary focus is estate planning, administration, and litigation, and guardianships. Passionate about representing elderly clients and protecting them from fraud and abuse, Sabrina appears regularly on their behalf in the New York state courts, helping them to obtain appropriate support in the home, safeguard their assets, and plan for the future. Sabrina advocates for vulnerable New Yorkers and their families, as they struggle to provide appropriate care.  She is committed to making complex issues—including insurance, Medicaid and Medicare—easy to understand and implement. Sabrina has also served many times as an Article 81 Guardian.

Sabrina is the immediate Past President of the New York Women’s Bar Association (“NYWBA”).  She is currently on the NYWBA Board of Directors and is also the Co-Chair of the NYWBA Elder Law and Disabilities Committee and Co-Chair of the Solo and Small Firm Committee.  Previously serving as President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Recording Secretary, Sabrina has enjoyed the past positions she has held in the association.

Sabrina serves as the Treasurer of the Foundation of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York.

Sabrina has worked as General Counsel for a mid-size international staffing firm, gaining invaluable expertise in company formation and operation.  She developed policies and procedures for the hiring and training of staff around the world, and advised the officers and directors on business decisions on a daily basis. She regularly traveled to offices around the country and in London, to represent management and implement Human Resources policies.  She also created two start-up businesses to provide corporate health and wellness services on-site, where she was actively involved in marketing and business development and legal affairs.
